Hold Fast to What God Said | Don’t Let Anyone Steal the Word | Rooted Harvest Church
When God has spoken, don’t let another voice, changing circumstances, distractions, or fear talk you out of what He said. In “Hold Fast to What God Said,” we look at the man of God from Judah in 1 Kings 13. He was entrusted with a clear word from the Lord and initially walked in obedience and power. But when another prophet claimed to have received a different message, he allowed that voice to override what God had already told him—and suffered the consequences of stepping away from obedience. This message challenges us to guard what God has spoken over our lives. The enemy may not always convince us to reject God outright. Sometimes all he needs to do is distract us, surround us with the wrong influences, or get us to question whether God really said what we know He said. Jesus said: “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” — John 8:31–32 God’s Word must become more authoritative in our lives than the opinions of others or what our circumstances seem to be saying. The sermon also looks at Jonah, the parable of the sower, and the danger of allowing the Word of God to become choked out by the cares and distractions of life. We can begin with a genuine desire to obey God and still slowly drift away from what He called us to do if we stop guarding what He has placed in our hearts. But if you have allowed something God called you to do to fade, you can pick it back up. “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” — Romans 11:29 God is still calling you forward. Stand on His Word. Mix it with faith. Take the step of obedience. And don’t allow anyone to convince you that the impossible thing God placed in your heart is too big for Him. Hold fast to what God said. Believe it. Walk in it. And don’t go back. 📖 Key Scriptures: 1 Kings 13 James 4:17 Galatians 1:8 John 8:31–32 Ephesians 5:6–7 Jonah 1 Luke 8:11–14 Hebrews 4:2 Romans 11:29 2 Kings 23:25 Galatians 6:9 #RootedHarvestChurch #HoldFast #Faith #GodsWord #Calling #Obedience #ChristianLiving #HolySpirit #BibleTeaching #Sermon

Don’t Neglect the Small Things | Guard Your Heart & Don’t Lose Heart | Rooted Harvest Church
YouTube Title Don’t Neglect the Small Things | Guard Your Heart & Don’t Lose Heart | Rooted Harvest Church YouTube Description Sometimes it isn’t the biggest battles that cause us to lose heart—it’s the small things we neglect along the way. In “Don’t Neglect the Small Things,” we look at Elijah immediately after one of the greatest victories of his ministry. After boldly confronting the prophets of Baal and witnessing God answer by fire, Elijah suddenly finds himself exhausted, afraid, isolated, and overwhelmed to the point of asking God to take his life. Pasted text So how did he get there? Elijah ran from his problem instead of bringing it to God. He was physically and mentally exhausted. His expectations had been disappointed. He isolated himself, and his thinking became distorted until he began believing things about his situation that weren’t even true. But God didn’t abandon Elijah. God gave him food. He gave him rest. He brought him back into His presence. And instead of another dramatic display of power, God spoke to Elijah through a still small voice, corrected his thinking, reminded him that he was not alone, and gave him direction for what came next. Pasted text This message is a reminder that our walk with God isn’t only about having faith for the big moments. We also have to be faithful in the things nobody else sees—our thoughts, words, habits, relationships, rest, spiritual health, and the areas where God is sanctifying us. Scripture tells us: “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much.” — Luke 16:10 We may be asking God for greater opportunities, greater influence, or greater things in His kingdom while overlooking what He has already placed in front of us. God cares about how we steward the small things. Don’t wait until something small becomes something that weighs you down. Stay connected to God. Stay connected to His people. Guard your thoughts. Guard your words. Listen for His voice. And keep running your race with endurance. 📖 Key Scriptures: Galatians 6:7–9 1 Kings 19:1–18 Matthew 11:28 1 Peter 5:8–9 Romans 12:2 Psalm 92:13–14 Hebrews 12:1 Luke 16:10 Proverbs 18:21 Romans 10:17 #RootedHarvestChurch #DontNeglectTheSmallThings #Faith #ChristianLiving #Elijah #HolySpirit #BibleTeaching #JesusChrist #Sermon

Still Anointed | Don’t Give Up on What God Called You to Do | Rooted Harvest Church
You may feel weak. You may have experienced setbacks. You may have made mistakes. But that doesn’t mean God is finished with you. In “Still Anointed,” we look at the lives of David and Peter and what happens when the circumstances around us seem completely contrary to what God has spoken. David had already been anointed to become king over all Israel, yet after years of waiting and struggle, another apparent breakthrough suddenly fell apart. His response captures the heart of this message: “I am weak today, though anointed king.” — 2 Samuel 3:39 David acknowledged his weakness without allowing that moment to redefine his calling. Even when things went wrong, he continued standing on what God had spoken over his life. Pasted text Peter faced something different. He failed Jesus, denied Him three times, and later returned to fishing. Yet before Peter ever failed, Jesus had already told him, “When you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” After the resurrection, Jesus didn’t discard Peter—He restored him and called him back into the assignment he had been given: “Feed My sheep.” Pasted text Pasted text This message is a reminder that setbacks, disappointment, weakness, and failure do not have to become the end of your story. Sometimes you need to return to God's presence, fill your horn with oil again, and allow the Holy Spirit to renew your faith and remind you of what He has called you to do. God told Samuel to stop mourning what had failed, fill his horn again, and move forward into what God was doing next. Pasted text And when you feel like you don't have the strength to continue, remember: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 “For when I am weak, then I am strong.” — 2 Corinthians 12:10 Pasted text Don’t let one difficult season convince you to abandon what God has placed on your life. You may be weak today—but you’re still called. Keep moving forward. 📖 Key Scriptures: 2 Samuel 3:39 2 Corinthians 1:20–22 Psalm 27:13–14 Luke 5:10–11 Luke 22:31–32 Mark 16:6–7 John 21:15–17 2 Timothy 1:9 1 Samuel 16:1, 13 2 Corinthians 12:9–10 #RootedHarvestChurch #StillAnointed #Calling #Faith #HolySpirit #ChristianLiving #JesusChrist #BibleTeaching #Sermon

A Heart God Can Use | Rooted Harvest Church
Sermon Date: August 26, 2026 God is looking for people whose hearts are completely devoted to Him—people who are willing to be set apart, refined, and prepared for His purpose. In “A Heart God Can Use,” we look at what it means to have a loyal and consecrated heart before God. Through the lives of Hezekiah, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, David, and others, we see the difference between relying on our own strength and trusting completely in the Lord. Scripture tells us: “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.” — 2 Chronicles 16:9 God can use the trials and fires we face to refine us. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego went into the furnace bound—but came out free, with God right there in the fire with them. Consecration isn't about earning salvation. It's about surrendering the things that hinder us so that we can become vessels for honor—holy, useful to the Master, and prepared for every good work. God is still searching for people who will say, “Lord, here I am. Search me. Refine me. Set me apart. Use my life for Your glory.” Are we willing to become the people through whom God can show Himself strong? 📖 Key Scriptures: 2 Chronicles 31:20–21 Daniel 3:16–25 Isaiah 48:10 2 Kings 20:2–6 2 Chronicles 16:9 Psalm 51:16–17 Romans 12:1–2 2 Timothy 2:21 Ephesians 1:18–21 Joel 2:12–32 Ephesians 5:25–27 #RootedHarvestChurch #AHeartGodCanUse #Consecration #Faith #HolySpirit #ChristianLiving #BibleTeaching #JesusChrist #Sermon

What You Water Will Grow | Rooted Harvest Church
What are you feeding in your life? When we receive Christ, we become a new creation—but we still have a choice about what we continue to nurture. If we continually feed the flesh, distractions, and the things of this world, those things will grow. But when we feed our spirit, spend time in God’s presence, stand on His Word, and walk in obedience, our new life in Christ begins to flourish. In “What You Water Will Grow,” we look at what it means to put off the old man and step fully into who God has called us to be. We also see how God can use trials to refine us, strengthen our faith, and prepare us for the inheritance and purpose He has placed before us. God’s Word is a seed—but a seed must be watered. Keep believing. Keep standing. Keep seeking the Lord. And don’t stop with yourself: Scripture tells us that “he who waters will also be watered himself.” 🌱 What you water will grow. Feed your spirit. Water the Word. Pour into others. And step into the new life Christ has given you. 📖 Key Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 5:17 Ephesians 4:22–24 Colossians 3:1–3 Hebrews 12:7–11 John 4:14 Hosea 10:12 1 Timothy 1:18 Proverbs 11:25 Colossians 2:6–7 2 Corinthians 4:7–15 #RootedHarvestChurch #WhatYouWaterWillGrow #NewCreation #ChristianLiving #Faith #HolySpirit #BibleTeaching #Sermon #JesusChrist

Get Free. Stay Free. Set Others Free.
Jesus didn’t set us free so we could return to the same chains we came from. He set us free so we could walk in the power of His Spirit, remain steadfast in that freedom, and help others experience the freedom found in Christ. In this message, **Get Free. Stay Free. Set Others Free.**, we look at what it means to leave the old life behind, stand firm in the liberty Christ has given us, and step into the purpose God has placed on our lives. Freedom is not something we accomplish through our own strength. It is through the Holy Spirit that we overcome the flesh, resist temptation, grow in our relationship with God, and become more like Christ. But our freedom was never meant to stop with us. God has given every believer His Spirit, gifts, authority, and opportunities to bring His love, truth, healing, and freedom to others. Don’t go back to what Christ has already delivered you from. Keep moving forward. Stand firm in your freedom. Step out in faith. And freely give what you have freely received. **Get free. Stay free. Set others free.** 📖 Key Scriptures: Colossians 2:13–15 John 8:32, 36 Galatians 5:1, 13 2 Corinthians 3:17–18 Romans 8:13 Luke 13:10–16 Acts 1:8 1 Corinthians 12:7 Matthew 10:8

Strike Back With the Word
Aligning Our Words With God’s Word The message moves from guarding the tongue, to receiving God’s Word in the heart, to actively speaking that Word against discouragement, accusation, temptation, and difficult circumstances. The closing picture of Eleazar’s hand becoming “stuck to the sword” gives the sermon its strongest memorable image: becoming so joined to the Word of God that Scripture becomes our instinctive response. Sermon Description Our words have power. They can build up or tear down, speak life or death, agree with the promises of God or give voice to fear, discouragement, and the lies of the enemy. In “Strike Back With the Word,” we look at what Scripture teaches about the words we speak and why our speech must come into alignment with God’s Word. From James’ warning about the power of the tongue to Jesus answering every temptation with “It is written,” we see that believers are called not simply to speak what they feel or see, but to declare what God has said. When the enemy attacks your identity, your calling, your family, or your faith, hold tightly to the sword of the Spirit—the Word of God. Speak life. Build others up. Take every thought captive. And continue striking back with the Word until your heart, mind, and words are firmly aligned with the truth of God.

What Measure Will You Give God’s Word?
God has spoken promises, purpose, and calling over every believer, but how we respond to His Word matters. In this sermon, we examine the widow’s empty vessels, Gideon’s journey from fear to faith, and the widow of Zarephath’s obedience during a season of great need. Each story reveals the same truth: faith grows as we hear God, trust His direction, and take the next step of obedience. Are we receiving God’s Word with expectation, or are we placing limits on what He can accomplish in and through us? The oil continued flowing until there were no more vessels. Gideon grew into the identity God declared over him through repeated steps of faith. The widow experienced supernatural provision when she obeyed even though God’s instruction did not seem logical. Do not allow fear, unbelief, present circumstances, or human wisdom to keep you from walking in what God has spoken. Build your relationship with Him, remain faithful where you are, and believe that His Word can produce an abundant harvest in your life.
